Vacancy: Climate Change Project Assistant
Based in Ho Chi Minh city

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Climate Change Project Assistant to work in our Emergency Team. The successful candidate will be based in Hochiminh City with frequent travels to project sites.

Main Responsibilities
This position is responsible for day to day supporting the Project Manager and Project Officer in project implementation and logistical tasks to ensure the quality of Save the Children’s the Community Based Adaptation Project activities in Tien Giang province

Key Competencies:

Essential:
• University degree in a related subject, e.g., environment, food security & livelihood, community development, etc.
• Minimum 01 year of work experience in development especially in climate change adaptation, preferably with an NGO
• Experience of community awareness raising, climate change adaptation, and food security & livelihood
• Experience of working with local government and partners
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude to team work
• Fluency in English (spoken and written);
• Good computer skills – MS Office
• Commitment to Save the Children’s values

Desirables:
• Familiarity with community based adaptation models
• Familiarity with community based researches and assessments
