Positions available
Education for Nature - Vietnam (ENV) is currently looking for candidate for the position of Communication and Public Awareness (CPA) Manager
Description of position
The CPA Manager is responsible for coordinating the development and execution of ENV’s major communication and public awareness campaigns in close cooperation with other ENV programs. The CPA
Manager reports to the ENV operations director and ENV Management Board.
Main Responsibilities
1. Supervise up to 5 CPA staffs.
2. Communications
Administer regular program activities
• Maintain and develop ENV’s weekly bulletin
• Develop ENV’s monthly Voice of Vietnam (VOV) radio show
• Coordinate the production of ENV position papers
• Provide oversight and supervision of ENV’s websites
• Maintain and develop ENV’s viral communication tools
• Maintain ENV resources and publications
Coordinate with the media
• Organize press conferences and brief journalists of relevant issues
• Produce press releases relevant to ENV activities
• Work with film and education experts to produce TV news segments and short films in support of campaign activities
Manage ENV advertising
• Design and develop advertising campaigns and new methods to market campaign messages
• Administer ENV’s VOV advertising on the radio
• Work in close cooperation with the ENV technical team on PSA development
• Design and execute viral advertising strategy on websites and in forums
Communications
• Coordinate campaign development and activities closely with all relevant departments within ENV
• Communicate regularly with the direct manager and the ENV management board on development ideas, progress, results, and obstacles relating to your work.
3. Advocacy
• Design and execute other means to build support amongst decision-makers for key ENV policy and legislative objectives.
• Set up regular meetings with key decision-makers at the provincial and national level
• Others related.
4. Other duties:
• Complete other duties and assignments as specified by ENV Management Board
Qualifications
• Vietnamese citizen, over 26 years old
• College degree required
• Excellent management & communications skills
• Excellent Vietnamese writing and editing skills required
• Fluent verbal and written English
• Multi-tasks function is required
• Critical thinking & good character
• Good knowledge of commonly traded wildlife identification is advantage
• Communications background is advantage
• Full competency in the basic office computer programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc...
