Position: Communication Collaborator

Location: Ho Chi Minh City

Position Overview:

  • In cooperation with Communication Officer and Program Teams to provide logistical coordination to facilitate local and international visitors/donors for all types of site visit to support Room to Read's (RtR) Programs.
  • To support development of promotional materials for publicity about RtR Vietnam's program.
  • The position will report directly to Communication Officer.


  • Assist to create content for marketing materials. This includes collecting and writing stories about our impact, including photography and video-based stories;
  • Assist to plan and coordinate for donor visits and corporate employee engagement visits and volunteering.
  • Assist to develop welcome pack to provide donors an overview of context of RtR work, guidelines for visits, culture, etc.
  • Assist to oversee creative materials produced by the country office. This includes accountability of photo/video collection and quality control for global marketing and donor materials within the country office.
  • Visit projects with Vietnam Program Teams in order to keep up to date with situation in the field, discuss new ideas and learn from what is happening in the field and help the team to write anecdotes.
  • Contribute local content on global and local social media feeds per global office guidelines.



  • Student of relevant fields (International Relations, Communication or Journalist, Marketing etc.)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with design and photography principles
  • Ability to write video script & edit video is a great plus
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Comfort working both independently and closely with diverse teams
  • Good inter-personable skills & highly organized
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to travel frequently to provinces

Working location:  

  • She/He will be working mainly in Ho Chi Minh city and frequent travel for work to other provinces or cities upon the request of the organization and job required.
