RECRUITMENT FOR COMMUNICATION DESIGNER

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors has works in 37 countries, supporting approximately 17 million people, including about 10 million children.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 3 provinces; Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. GNI in Vietnam sponsors about 10,000 children and implements community development projects (CDP) in education, water & sanitation, income generation sectors in 6 different areas of Vietnam.

Type of contract: Contract based

1. MAIN DUTIES

• Research and develop a design concept of ethnic minorities of Vietnam
• Design a logo which can be used while selling of ethnic minorities’ goods
• Design a promotional/ information cards which can be given with the products, sold to customers
• Design promotional posters which delivers key information to shoppers at big retailers
• Design any two dimensional information delivery materials related to ethnic minorities

2. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education

• University degree in Communication Design, or Fine Art

Work experience

• At least 3~4 logo design projects experiences
• CI design experiences
• Any project-based professional experiences, which the candidates’ design were used for commercial, and marketing purposes

Skills

• Advanced skills on Photoshop and Illustrator software
• Ability to work independently and work with the team
• Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills

Attitude

• Respects and keeps the agreed deadline
• Keeping amicable relationship with other colleagues and gather necessary information to complete the given tasks
• Accountable and transparent.
• Good English communication skills to understand the tasks
• Good skill in computer use
