We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vietnamese citizen to fill the following position:

COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

Location:         Hanoi, Vietnam
Report to:    Information & Communications Coordinator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the communications team with external and internal relations
• Support documentation activities, using digital technologies
• Support in coordinating communications activities within Oxfam in Vietnam
• Support in producing Oxfam publications
• Provide translation and interpretation services (Vietnamese – English and vice versa)
• Be in charge of general administration
• Join field trips when required
• Others as assigned by line manager

Expected Competencies:

• Vietnamese citizen, University degree
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good knowledge of digital application for creative reporting, documentation
• Good command of English, including interpretation and translation from Vietnamese to English and vice-versa
• Commitment and inspiration to work in development areas and poor community
• Hobbies and skills for media work is an asset (blog, digital camera, camcorder, poster making etc.)

Behavioral competencies:

• Good communication, presentation skills (especially in working with people from different backgrounds)
• Good teamwork skills (supporting others, delegation, influencing, negotiating)
• Respect for others
