Communications and Fundraising Manager

Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation is an Australian charity reaching out to kids in crisis in Vietnam. Blue Dragon kids are street kids, children from very poor families, children with disabilities and children and young women who have been trafficked. We rescue children directly from their places of slavery, or on the streets, reunite them with their families when we can, and provide all the services needed for recovery and growth. Blue Dragon operates four programs throughout Vietnam, and has a staff of 65 situated in Hanoi and Hue.

Blue Dragon Children's Foundation is looking for an experienced expatriate candidate with excellent English-language skills for the position of Communications and Fundraising Manager. We need someone with a proven track record in fundraising, communications and related fields.

Key objectives

- Develop and implement a strategic plan to generate income for Blue Dragon around the world
- Steward donor relationships and find opportunities for new markets and engagement
- Ensure effective management of donor information
- Ensure quality control of all external stakeholder engagement including all English-language communications materials and public relations engagement
- Increase opportunities to communicate Blue Dragon’s goals and achievements
- Support and motivate the Communications and Fundraising team and create a working environment that inspires excellence and continual learning

Reporting

The Communications and Fundraising Manager reports to the CEO and works closely on strategy and implementation with the CEO.
