Call for Expressions of Proposal

#008: A company to conduct broadcasted live on WHO Vietnam’s Facebook fanpage on the launching of the report on GSHS 19.

1. Background:

To study the current situation and trends of NCDs risk factors and common health behaviours among students aged 13-17 years in Vietnam so as to provide the evidence needed for the implementation and evaluation of the objectives and targets of the National Strategy and the Healthy Vietnam Programme, the Global School-based Student Health Survey (GSHS) has been conducted in Viet Nam in 2019. The results of the GSHS 2019 also helped to monitor and report on the progress of the implementation of global monitoring indicators and voluntary targets of NCDs that Vietnam has adopted and committed to implementing. For that reason, after completing the survey, it is necessary to disseminate and publish the findings of the GSHS 2019.

WHO Viet Nam will hold an event to launch the report and to raise awareness and support of policy makers and the public to strengthen health protection factors and to reduce health risk factors for school children.
