Consultancy to Conduct Market Scan for Girls Ready for the Future Program (Re-advertised)

We see clear links between fulfilling children’s rights, achieving gender equality and ending child poverty. Every girl and boy has the right to be healthy, educated, protected, valued and respected in their own community and beyond. Plan Vietnam Country program goal will focus on “Girls of Vietnam are active drivers of change in realizing their rights “Girls’ rights, our dedication”. With the support from ANO, Girl ready for the future program framework has been developed and considered as one of prioritized intervention areas in coming years. In order to identify appropriate approaches, key interventions for project target groups, influencing and potential project stakeholders, it is necessary to conduct a market scan in project selected areas. 

2. Introduction to the “Girl ready for the future program”

Goal: disadvantaged youth, especially girls and young women realize their rights to gender sensitive, safe and inclusive education, then are actively engaged in decent work either waged or self-employment

Expected results and indicators

• Children aged of 11- 15 (preparation stage) are well prepared and able to make decision for their future
• Youth aged of 16- 24 (Graduation stage) are ready for decent job opportunities

PIV seeks to engage a consultant to assist Plan International Vietnam program team to conduct market scan for the future program. The purpose of the market scan is to identify and analyse market trends and demands so youth especially young women could consider for their future job orientation/or pursuing. The result of the survey is expected to become a basis for development of career guidance and marked-demanded job skills training (TVET)
