Consultancy Opportunities at WWF

Please be informed that WWF-Vietnam is seeking for consultancy to:

1 - Consultant on conduct of 3 researches on “Participatory Social Impact Assessment (pSIA); Study on Endangered Species Distribution and Conservation” and conduct  pre-assessment ASC standard for Pangasius farm at Dong Thap Province  (The detailed TOR is attached herewith for your reference.)

Objective of the assignment is to full researches on BEIA, PSIA and endangered species in order to identify and ensure farms’ conditions matching with ASC requirements to be ASC audited by independent certifying bodies

Expected qualifications of the consultants:

Knowledge/Expertise: Consultant team should have related background in environment, society, biology, aquaculture, economics or relevant subjects. At least Master Degree for team leader. Minimum 3 years experience in relevant subjects.

Experiences: Experience in PRA methodology, experiences prefered in participatory Social impact assessment (pSIA) for Pangasius , Biology – Environment impact assessment

Skills and Abilities: Good at writing report and communication, understand local context.

2- Consultancy for 2 studies: (1) water extraction and allocation; (2)water discharge  for Pangasius farm in Dong Thap Province  (The detailed TOR is attached herewith for your reference.)

Objective of the assignment is conduct 2 studies: (1) water extraction and allocation; and (2) water discharge for Pangasius farm locates at Chau Thanh district, Dong Thap province. This farm covers more than 20ha

Expected qualifications of the consultants:

Knowledge/Expertise: Consultant team should have related background in environment, society, biology, aquaculture or relevant subjects. At least Master Degree for team leader. Team members should expert in Enviromental Science.

Experiences: Minimum 3 years experience in relevant subjects, particular in ASC consultancy. Experience in conducting relavant studies, Environment impact assessment. Successful consultancy for at least 2 farms (Shrimp/Panga) with ASC certified.

Skills and Abilities: Good at writing report and communication, understand local context.
