CARE International in Vietnam is a Non-Governmental Organization representing the CARE International network in Vietnam since 1989. CARE in Vietnam contributes to the global effort on eliminating poverty and hunger, particularly for vulnerable and marginalized groups. In Vietnam, to achieve this, we work with Vietnamese partners across sectors such as health services, rural livelihood development, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.

CARE Vietnam is now seeking an individual or a team to provide evidence on the impact of our work in the area of women’s participation and economic empowerment with ethnic groups, to learn which approaches and models work, to test our theories of change, and to provide recommendations for future programming strategies and direction. Through analysis of CARE programming in the Mekong, the evaluation will demonstrate how women from ethnic groups are gaining access to, and control over, economic resources, and how this in turn has led to socio-cultural changes at the individual, family, and community levels.
