BACKGROUND:

TMSV’s Project Goal: This project will tackle Modern Slavery from Vietnam through harnessing the capacities of IOM, World Vision and British Council to implement a coordinated series of interventions that specifically align with existing work in Vietnam, and United Kingdom Official Development Assistance requirements in five target provinces: Nghe An (Yen Thanh; Dien Chau); Hai Phong (Hai Phong city; Thuy Nguyen); Quang Binh: (Dong Hoi, Bo Trach); Ha Tinh (Can Loc; Nghi Xuan); and Quang Ninh (Ha Long city).

WVV is responsible to implement the activities related to the impact area 3: Supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of victims of trafficking through the identification, protection, support and successful reintegration of VoTs (Victims of Trafficking)/ PVoTs (Potential Victims of Trafficking) within the target states.

EVALUATION OBJECTIVES:

  • The project's target groups are participated in creative therapy sessions tailored to their needs. They can share and communicate with each other within the framework of the project.
  • The project's target groups know how to practice and apply simple creative methods in everyday life to improve their mental health.
  • Products collected during the course of psychological support sessions Creative therapy (experiences, stories) will be shared in a public exhibition; and / or practice of psychological support through creative therapy will be materialized and improve understanding of trafficking / irregular migration and the reintegration of the project’s target groups, promote safe migration / labor export.

TIMEFRAME:

  • Plan 1: 28.5 – 34.5 days (for groups of 20 – 35 people)
  • Plan 2: 52.5 – 74.5 days (for groups of 5 – 20 people)

REQUIREMENTS:

The consultant may work as an individual or as leader of a consultancy team. The successful Lead Consultant should fulfill the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor Degree or a Post-graduate Degree preferably in Psychology, Social Work, Therapy through creative, artistic methods.
  • At least 02 years of experience in providing psychological support with creative therapy for groups, having knowledge on trauma-informed care is preferred.
  • Experience in working with Victims of Trafficking / irregular migrant, having deep understanding about the modern slavery context in the project sites and Vietnamese migrating to the UK is preferred.
