Consultant to Conduct LGBT Needs Assessment

At present, Vietnam Country Office has programs in 22 out of 63 provinces in Vietnam.

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for Consultancy Service, with following information:
Main Responsibilities:
The consultancy aims to provide concrete data and findings extracted from assessment on the current situation of LGBT movement and needs of LGBT children and young people in An Giang, Dong Thap and Vinh Long province. The consultant will be responsible for following tasks:
- To develop a workable needs assessment plan with details of targeted groups and the relevant participating number and working methodology;
- To provide key contacts of LGBT groups and parents for preparedness before needs assessment;
- To take the key role in conducting assessment sessions, with support of Save the Children staff; and
- To deliver in-depth assessment report, together with recommendation for the suitable location for site expansion in 2019.
Key Competencies:
- Hold a at least bachelor’s degree;
- Have a professional background and more than 5-year experience in working on LGBT-related topics, experience in working with PLFAG is preferred;
- Have experience in conducting an assessment including, but not limited to, design, data collection and analysis;
- Possess skills and methodology of working with children, youth and adults; and
- Have advanced skills in communication and report writing.
