Consultant to Conduct Midline Performance Evaluation

We are looking for a Vietnamese individual for:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reaching out to selected sampled youth to develop and to finalize a data collection plan and data analysis plan with approval from SC prior to conducting interviews;
  • Before data collection begins, the individual consultant is required to participate in a mandatory training provided by SC to familiarize them with the survey tool of GG5 project developed by SC;
  • Conducting the interviews and preparing data and information to analyse. This task consists of administering the interviews, recording and transcribing the responses. The individual consultant will also be responsible for giving regular updates to the SC team;
  • Working closely with SC on the analysis of the collected data;
  • Participate in a meeting after completion of data analysis to discuss results prior to writing the 1 st draft report;
  • Drafting and finalizing the survey report depending on comments and feedback of SC.

Key Competencies:

  • Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences or Economics, especially having experience in Youth Employment and Migrant, or Labor Market assessment, or
  • Employability Skills assessment;
  • At least 5 years of experience in conducting qualitative social/economic studies related to Youth Employment and Migrant, or Labor Market assessment, or Employability Skills assessment;
  • Proven experience in Monitoring and Evaluation is preferable;
  • Proven experience in conducting surveys among vulnerable youth, especially interviewing youth via phones
  • High English proficiency in writing and speaking;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, qualitative data analysis software (NVivo, MAXQDA, etc.);
