Consultant to Conduct TOT Training Courses on Rice Production with SRI of “Northern Mountain integrated Child Nutrition Improvement” Project

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:

Vacancy: Consultant to conduct TOT training courses on rice production with SRI of “Northern Mountain integrated Child Nutrition Improvement” project (JSDF project) in Yen Bai and Son La provinces.

Main Objectives: The objective of the consultancy is to improve knowledge on rice production with SRI among extension staff, leaders of farmer association and leaders of women union in project areas. After training, these trained staff have sufficient knowledge and skills for effectively delivering training courses on the same topic for targeted households

Key Competencies:

Essential

  • Master degree on cropping

  • At least 10 years of working experience

  • Experience on SRI awareness raising for ethic minority people

  • Experience on SRI application by ethnic minority communities in Northern mountainous areas.

  • Experience on delivering training for district and commune technical staff and for ethnic minority communities in mountainous provinces.

  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently

  • Ability to travel and work in mountainous area
