Development of Training Materials and Teacher Training on STEM/STEAM Education and Digital Skills for High School Students
Project:
“Enhancing the Skills and Competencies of Youth in Applying Technology and STEM in Education, Employment, and Rural Labor to Contribute to the Successful Implementation of the Youth Development Strategy 2021–2030”
Implementing Agencies:
The project is implemented by the Central Youth Union (Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union) in collaboration with Oxfam in Vietnam, with technical support from Vietnet-ICT and the Institute for Policy and Media Development (IPS).
The project aims to improve soft skills and technological and STEM application capabilities of young people, particularly in rural areas, to promote inclusive, sustainable, and comprehensive digital transformation.
Vietnet-ICT invites individual consultants or consultant teams to participate in this consultancy package with the following main tasks:
- Develop training materials and slide decks for high school teachers on STEM/STEAM education and digital skills.
- Deliver training for high school teachers using the developed materials.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in developing training materials and conducting teacher training on digital skills and STEM for high school students
- Proven knowledge and experience in teaching and applying micro:bit;
- Experience in teaching digital skills (digital safety);
- Understanding of and experience with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in environmental protection and gender equality;
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams;
- Ability to think clearly and communicate ideas coherently.
