Consultant at Plan International
Organization: Plan International is an international humanitarian, child centered, development organization, without religious, political or governmental affiliation. Project description:
The Education program is one of 5 priority programs of CSPIV with focus on supporting disadvantaged girls and boys from poor and marginalized groups to access to quality, relevant and inclusive education.
One of key interventions to achieve the above-mentioned outcomes is building capacity for primary school managers and teachers on professional sharing through lesson study, which we call “new Professional Teacher Meeting (new PTM)”. Through lesson observation, “new PTM” aims to improve the quality of lessons. Currently, PTM is being rolled out to demonstrate in Ha Giang, Lai Chau, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Kontum provinces where Plan international Vietnam supports.
We are looking for experienced, qualified and motivated Vietnamese National consultant to support Plan International Vietnam building strong evidences from application of the new PTM through:
- Building up capacities for core teachers, school managers, BOET and DOET staff (CTT) in Plan support areas on new PTM and how to apply in preschool and primary schools These participants are expected as technical resources for rolling out and replication of new PTM at wider scale. Providing technical support to schools where the new PTM is being applied to be stronger and act as a learning resources for rolling out and replication purposes.
- Providing technical inputs that support PIV appraising the practical guideline for new PTM in primary school.
