Consultant for Project Midterm Review
Organization: Plan International Vietnam is looking for a consultancy for conducting Midterm review the project “Community and School Water and Sanitation Hygiene Promotion” (CS WASH Pro)
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) is a program supported by Plan International in Vietnam (PIV) as part of its Third Country Strategic Plan (CSP) 2011-2015. PIV is in the process of developing its CSP IV 2016-2020. From August 2013 to October 2017, with funding from DFAT, Government of Australia, PIV is implementing the Civil Society WASH Project in five rural and mountainous districts (Minh Hoa, Dak Rong, Huong Hoa, Kon Plong and Kon Ray) of three provinces (Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Kon Tum). Population within this project area is approximately 194,000, many of whom are ethnic minorities. These ethnically diverse areas include the following ethnic groups: Pa Ko, Van Kieu, K’Ho, H’Re and Xe Dang.
Project activities are structured under five components which are i) sanitation; ii) hygiene; iii) environment, climate change & disaster risk reduction; iv) gender & social inclusion and v) knowledge & learning.
After 2 years implementing the Project, it is necessary to conduct a Midterm review to assess the achievements of project milestones; key lessons learned and recommendations for improvements or addressing identified issues. For this MTR, PIV requires the service of an experienced and qualified consultant. More detail on job requirement and tasks is seen at the TOR.
