Consultant to provide career orientation lower secondary school (LSS) students and youth

The international non-governmental organization World Vision is seeking consultant to provide career orientation tools, knowledge, facilitation skills for lower secondary school (LSS) teachers; and facilitate a career orientation festival for students and youth who dropped out school.

Location: Son Tra area programme, Da Nang.

Time: December 2023

Scope of work:

1. Training for Middle School Teachers:

Conduct online training for 50 middle school teachers before December 14, 2023.

2. Career Orientation Day for Students and Adolescents on December 16, 2023:

Number of participants: 800, including approximately 500 of 9th-grade students and 300 adolescents aged 15-20 who have dropped out of school in the Son Tra district.

Requirements for Consultants:

• Formal training, knowledge, and experience in the field of career guidance for children and adolescents, especially those in urban settings.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in career education.

Total budget: Not exceeding $1,500.

• Personnel plan, CVs.
• List of relevant events organized.
• Finance proposal in Vietnamese currency (VND): total costs, including VAT, remuneration for involved members (PIT), meal expenses, and related costs.
• Consultant rate does not include travel and accommodation costs in the proposed budget. Travel expenses will be reimbursed based on actual invoices; accommodation expenses will be directly covered by WVV organization with the contracted provider according to the signed framework agreement.
