Consultant to Provide TOT Training on SHN& AD for Teachers in Lao Cai

1. The consultant is responsible for the following work items:

1.1. TOT training for core teachers at primary and secondary schools on knowledge, methods and skills in behavior change communication for school health and nutrition topics

• Study the content and methods developed and mentioned in the technical guideline "School health and nutrition education through extracurricular activities" compiled by SC.
• Develop detailed training programs/curriculums and lectures and send to SC at least 05 working days prior to the training day.
• Adjust programs/curriculums and lectures based on the feedback/suggestions from SC.
• Conduct 02 training courses for focal teachers (01 course for primary school level and 01 course for secondary school level).
• Complete the post-training report including recommendations on the roadmap to provide additional knowledge, methods and skills for teachers.

1.2. TOT training for key facilitators of in-school adolescent clubs on knowledge, methods and skills in behavior change communication for adolescent reproductive health topics

• Study the contents and methods developed and mentioned in the technical guideline "Guidance on organizing Adolescent club activities" compiled by SC.
• Develop detailed training programs/curriculums and lectures and send to SC at least 05 working days prior to the training day.
• Adjust programs/curriculums and lectures based on feedback/suggestions from SC.
• Conduct 01 training course for key club facilitators.
• Complete the post-training report including recommendations on the roadmap for providing additional knowledge, methods and skills for the facilitators.

Notes: In each training course, there will be additional teaching assistants who are leaders and executives/specialists of Lao Cai Department of Education and Training and Project staff in Lao Cai.
