Consultant Services for Baseline Studies

The Government of Vietnam has received assistance from the United States Agency for International Development for the Vietnam Forests and Deltas Project. The Project aims to help accelerate Vietnam's transition to climate-resilient, low-emission sustainable development in selected provinces and urban areas.

The principal executing agency, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), has designated the Management Board for Forestry Projects (MBFP) to manage project implementation.

A partnership of organizations, led by Winrock International, is responsible for coordinating technical assistance to enhance planning practices for resilient communities in respect of short- and long-term climate risk as well as to promote climate-smart planning for low greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Currently, the project is seeking national consulting firms or group of consultants to conduct  05 (five) baseline studies) for project provinces, respectively:

I. Package title: Water resources and climate change impact assessment for Nam Dinh

II. Package title: Agriculture development and climate change adaptive agricultural livelihoods for Long An

III. Package title: Soil erosion and climate change impact assessment for Long An

IV. Package title: Water resources and climate change impact assessment for Long An

V. Package title: Assessment of forest cover and land-use changes from 1990 - 2013 in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces, Vietnam
