Consultant to Support the Development of Criteria for Selecting Extremely Disadvantaged Communes

 The Project “Support to the implementation of the Resolution 80/NQ-CP on directions of sustainable poverty reduction (2011-2020) and the National Targeted Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction (2012-2016)" (PRPP). The Project is supported by UNDP with cost-sharing from Irish Aid is to provide technical assistance for Ministry of Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and other related agencies at central and local level.

2015 marks the end of NTP-SPR 2011-2015, with MOLISA leading cooperation with line ministries to guide provinces to evaluate and propose the development NTP-SPR 2016-2020.

The proposal on investment directions in NTP-SPR 2016-2020 has been examined and sent to the Prime Minister for checking and submission to the National Assembly for approval in November 2015. To support the submission to the Prime Minister for approval of the Program, it is necessary to develop criteria for selecting target beneficiaries in component projects, particularly criteria for selecting target areas (criteria for extremely disadvantaged commune in coastal areas and islands, criteria for poor districts).

PRPP Project supporting Poverty Reduction Coordination Office/MOLISA will recruit 01 independent national consultant to support the development of criteria for selecting extremely disadvantaged communes in coastal areas and islands in NTP-SPR 2016-2020.
