Consultant(s) to Conduct Situation Analysis Study on Child Protection

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review secondary data and studies about current situation of child protection in both communities and schools in the project area.
  • Gather and analyze figure/data/ information about current situation on children protection in both and schools and communities – especially ethnic minority ones – in the project area.
  • Provide recommendation on possible interventions in schools and communities in the next five years in terms of child protection.

Key Competencies:

  • Advanced degree in social sciences
  • Experience/awareness of contexts of education and child protection fields in Viet Nam generally
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in training, project planning, participatory
  • Research of community development area
  • Understanding of political, cultural, social context in Vietnam,
  • Participatory training skills, preferably including child participation skills
  • Analytical and writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to produce work with high quality in a short span of time
