Consultants in livelihood and independent living models

The Center for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP) is a non-profit science and technology organization under VUSTA with extensive experiences in implementing research, training, intervention, consultation and advocacy projects in the field of health management, reproductive health, gender equality, gender-based violence and disability. CCIHP’s program aim to promote quality, diversity and health for all.

CCIHP recently is implementing Inclusion 1 project, funded by USAID, aiming to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities in the central region of Vietnam.

CCIHP is planning to hire consultants in livelihood and independent living models under Inclusion 1 Project.

Targeted applicants: Consultants have program management experience and/or technical expertise in assisting people with disabilities in independent living, livelihood improvement, and/or social integration.

Number of applicants: 01 – 02 consultants

Key requirements:

• Proven experience in implementing direct models to support independent living, improve livelihoods, or promote social integration for people with disabilities in provinces with difficult socio-economic conditions;
• Have a bachelor's degree or master’s degree in an appropriate major (e.g., social work, public health, etc.). However, practical experience in supporting independent living, improving livelihoods, or social integration for people with disabilities will be given more consideration.
• Have ability to work independently or in groups; good presentation and report writing skills;
• Flexible work arrangement (able to arrange supervision trips at the project site in either the working week or the weekend);
• Fluency in written and spoken English is an advantage.
