Oxfam in Vietnam is seeking qualified national consultant(s) to assess the piloted rice cultivation models and develop Farmer Field School (FFS) manual on low GHG rice production for small-scale farmers in the North of Vietnam (Yen Bai province). Please refer to the attached TOR for more information.
The objective of this assignment is to:
- Review the piloted rice cultivation models to assess the results of each cultivation method in terms of socioeconomic and environmental effectives, GHG reduction result, adoption capacity of small-scale farmers and scalability.
- Document the implementation process, achievement, adoption barriers and lessons learnt from the piloted cultivation models
- Develop FFS training manual to build capacity for small scale rice farmers on low GHG emission rice production.
