Consultant(s) to develop TOT training manuals/ guidelines on occupational safety and health in the shrimp and rice value chains in Mekong Delta of Vietnam

Oxfam in Vietnam is currently seeking qualified national consultant(s) to develop TOT training manuals/ guidelines on occupational safety and health (OSH) in the shrimp and rice value chains in Mekong Delta of Vietnam.

 

The assignment aims to design and develop TOT training manuals to support key trainers who are resource staff/ core members from Vietnam Farmers’ Union at various level. The training manuals will serve as guidance for trainers to deliver effective training sessions and transfer knowledge to female and male farmers on the following two key topics: (i) Occupational safety and health in rice cultivation; and (ii) Occupational safety and health in shrimp farming.

Through these training manuals, key trainers will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and methods needed to:

  • Master the content and approaches for knowledge transfer related to the two main topics of the project;
  • Develop lesson/ facilitation plans and deliver training sessions to female and male farmers with gender sensitivity integrated;
  • Provide technical advice and support to female and male farmers to promote good OSH practices in shrimp and rice production with a gender-sensitive approach.
