Corporate Relationship Manager

WWF is one of the world's largest and most respected independent conservation organizations, with almost 5 million supporters and a global network active in over 100 countries. WWF-Vietnam is one country component of the WWF Greater Mekong and is the implementing arm for projects in Vietnam mainly in Central Annamites, Southern Annamites and the Mekong Delta. Our major activities focus on Freshwater, Forestry, Marine and Aquaculture, Agriculture and Agroforestry, Policy and Advocacy.

We are currently seeking for well-qualified and experienced candidates for full-time  position of CORPORATE RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (based in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam)

Main responsibilities:

The Corporate Relationship Manager is responsible for engaging corporations for transformational change to address the impacts of their business on the priority landscapes and species of WWF Vietnam and the Greater Mekong Programme Office, recovering costs by raising funds from corporate partners through engagement, sponsorships, cause-related marketing and other product-specific partnerships, engaging them in joint communications when appropriate, managing reputational risks to the brand while cultivating prospects in priority sectors, and managing existing relationships to establish long-term partnerships with corporations.

Qualifications and Experience:

    * Master’s degree in Business Management, Environmental Management or in similar fields
    * At least 5 years practical experience in corporate sector
    * Successful fundraising experience a strong plus
    * Familiar with environmental and conservation issues in Vietnam
    * Knowledge of the business sector and specific companies (market intelligence) in Vietnam, and in the GMR is an advantage
    * Extensive working knowledge of the local surroundings and has previously maintained networks professional contacts
    * Thorough understanding of socio-economic, conservation and development issues in Vietnam
    * Knowledge of the policy/institutional context related to conservation in Vietnam
    * Excellent understanding of development partnerships, fund-raising, donor strategies, functions, governmental and international relations
    * Experience of working and negotiating with Government officials and donors at all level
    * Experience of working in international organisations
    * Proven track record in marketing and/or fundraising within the charity and/or private sectors, including substantial experience in brand response marketing
    * Strong leadership, people management and relationship-building skills;
    * Able to think both strategically and innovatively, and translate this into delivery of results;
    * Exceptional communication and influencing skills, combined with the ability to work under pressure in a changing environment;
    * Understanding of the charity sector, fundraising and supporter relationship management
    * Well proven financial acumen and budget management capability
    * Sensitivity and empathy with the vision and values of WWF
    * Good Leadership and people management skills as well as coaching and capacity building/development skills
    * Good negotiation, Presentation, communications, and public speaking skills
    * Fluency in written and spoken English and local language
