Vacancy: Country Human Resource Assistant
Based in Hanoi

We are looking for Vietnamese national for the position of Country Human Resource Assistant to work for our Support Services Team. The successful candidate will be based our office in Hanoi.

Main Responsibilities

The Country Human Resources Assistant (HRA) will implement all HR tasks of Country Office and provide advice and support to teams in Area Offices on all HR related issues, and support HR & Admin Manager in ensuring effective HR systems and processes are in place and functioning as per SCI’s general quality standards.

Key Competencies:

Essential

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economy, Law and Human Resources Management;
  • At least 3-year experience of providing a generalist HR service to managers across a full range of HR issues; Experience of and well developed skills in recruitment, selection, appointment, contracting and payroll and ability to operationalize these;
  • Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing
  • Proven experience of using MS office application (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Have good knowledge about Vietnam Labor Code, Social Insurance Code, Enterprise Code, Civil Code, PIT Law and legal regulations of INGO;
  • Good attention to detail;
  • Good data management skills and experience of setting up and using simple HR information systems;
  • Commitment to and skills in capacity building – together with the ability to assess and coach others;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Have high sense of self and team development
  • Adapting to changing work patterns and new methods
  • Be proactive and creative in all work
  • Have ability to work under high pressure

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Vietnam development issues and NGO networks;
  • A human resource management/development qualification from a credible institution.
