We are looking for a Vietnamese national for Consultancy service, with following information:

I.    Objectives of the Consultancy:

The consultancy to provide data entry for:

  • The Employability Adaptation (EA) Tool Second Pilot Survey
  • The paper-based baseline survey for Employability Training courses for students organized during July – August, 2018
  • The project beneficiary database for Employability Training courses for students organized during July – August, 2018

II.    Consultant’s responsibilities:

The selected consultant will work with the Project Manager/ Project team and MEAL intern to accomplish the following key tasks:

  • Enter 640 questionnaires of the EA Tool Second Pilot survey; 120 - 300 questionnaires of the Baseline Survey into a data system (to be decided, either Excel, SPSS or Epi Data).
  • Enter 20 – 30 pages of project beneficiary participant list into Excel.
  • This requires checking each questionnaire and entering response codes into a computer data entry form. The output of this step is that we will have a data set under Excel or SPSS form for analysis;
  • Check data for data entry errors (for this purposes, 5% of the data need to be entered twice), internal consistencies

The actual number of questionnaires to be entered depending on the number of S2S project participants for the July – August, 2018 period

III.    Expected deliverables outputs:

  • Excel/ SPSS/ Stata file with entered data of EA Tool second pilot survey
  • Excel/ SPSS/ Stata file with entered date of the baseline survey
  • Excel file of the project database (template to be provided)

IV.    Duration/Timeframe:

The duration of this work would be depending on the training schedule of the S2S Employability Skill course. Work would be assigned after completion of each training course. The contract will start from 10 July 2018 and must be completed before 30 September 2018. 

Consultant’s Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/College Degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., social sciences, public health...
  • Good computing skills (Excel, Epidata, SPSS, Stata)
  • English language skills (preferred)
