Vacancy: Data Surveyors of Learning Assessment (Numeracy and Literacy) for Basic Education (BE) Program in Sponsorship-funded Program in Lao Cai, Vietnam

We are looking for 35 Vietnamese surveyors to work with Save the Children staff to use assessment tool to conduct face-to-face evaluation with 1200 primary school students and 42 teachers, using tablets so that it can be used meaningfully and effectively for the baseline assessment and evaluation of the BE program in the context of the program’s targeted communities.

Key Competencies:

  • College or university students
  • Be able to work in a tight and intensive schedule, which requires a lot of travel
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to work and build rapport with children, especially young ethnic minority children
  • Familiarity with Lao Cai region – people and the culture; preference would be given to candidates from Lao Cai
  • Experience in using tablet
  • Be patient, accurate
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Good at grasping new knowledge
