We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Deputy Director to lead key strategic areas, including marketing, partnership development, training, and product innovation, to amplify our impact nationally.

 

Position Summary

The Deputy Director will oversee the strategic development and execution of marketing, partnerships, training, and product initiatives to advance the GEDSI portfolio. This leadership role requires a visionary individual who can blend strategic thinking with operational excellence to drive transformative change. The successful candidate will lead teams to develop innovative solutions, foster high-impact collaborations, and ensure that our programs remain cutting-edge and effective in delivering measurable outcomes for gender equality, diversity, and inclusion.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Marketing and Branding
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to elevate the GEDSI portfolio’s visibility and impact globally.
  • Oversee branding initiatives to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational values and goals.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to measure and enhance marketing campaign performance.
  • Leverage digital platforms, social media, and other communication channels to promote GEDSI initiatives.
  1. Partnership Building
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with corporations, non-profits, government agencies, and academic institutions to advance GEDSI goals.
  • Lead high-level engagement with key stakeholders to establish long-term, impactful collaborations.
  • Represent the organization in external forums, conferences, and meetings to promote the GEDSI agenda.
  • Develop partnership proposals, agreements, and frameworks for mutual success.
  1. Training and Capacity Building
  • Lead the design and oversee the delivery of training programs on gender equality, diversity, and inclusion for diverse audiences.
  • Ensure that training materials are evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and aligned with global best practices.
  • Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure training impact and outcomes.
  • Build and manage a team of trainers and subject matter experts to execute programs effectively.
  1. Product Development
  • Drive the creation of innovative tools, resources, and solutions that support organizations in achieving GEDSI objectives.
  • Lead the research and development of products, including e-learning modules, toolkits, and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot and scale impactful GEDSI solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and user feedback to ensure products remain relevant and effective.
  1. Leadership and Strategy
  • Serve as a key member of the GEDSI leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Manage and mentor teams across marketing, partnerships, training, and product development.
  • Develop and manage budgets for assigned areas of responsibility, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence within the GEDSI portfolio.

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, partnership building, human resoure management, training, or product development, preferably in the GEDSI field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advancing gender equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing and branding strategies.
  • Excellent partnership development and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience designing and delivering impactful training programs.

  • The salary ranges from 30 to 50 million VND, depending on contributions, and is accompanied by health and social insurance as well as an achievement bonus, in accordance with Vietnamese law and ECUE’s policies
