RECRUITMENT FOR DESIGN-MONITORING-EVALUATION/DME OFFICER

Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development non-governmental organization founded in Korea in 1991 to make the world a place without hunger, where people live together in harmony. Currently, Good Neighbors has been working in 198 community development sites and 40 countries around the world.

East Asia Regional Coordination Office (RCO), representing the East Asia region, discusses issues and collects opinions from 07 current member countries - Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Vietnam. RCO’s functions include but are not limited to: coordination of planning activities within the region; supporting member countries for operation, activity management, and finance management; supporting fundraising and resource mobilization.

We are looking for an experienced, qualified, and motivated Vietnamese candidate who is committed to working full-time for the following position:

Job title: Design-Monitoring-Evaluation/DME Officer

Reports to: Regional Coordinator

Working time: 8:30 – 17:00, Monday - Friday

Effective date: ASAP

Location: East Asia RCO, Hanoi

Type of contract: Full-time

2. MAIN DUTIES

Design

  • Support Field Countries during project design/re-design phase, through providing assistance and consultancy;
  • Review project documents of Field Countries.

Monitoring

  • Develop tools for RCO to use in monitoring Field Countries’ program performance;
  • Monitory Field Countries’ programs regularly and analyze the country data to support decision making at the regional and global levels.

Evaluation

  • Participate in organizing and coordinating the evaluation, including Field Countries’ and RCO’s performance evaluation;
  • Participate the making of evaluation report and the sharing of results, lessons learned, and recommendations received after.

Others

  • Build networks and partnerships with other organizations or experts to strengthen DME system at the regional level;
  • Other related-tasks assigned by Regional Coordinator or line managers/officers.

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education:

University degree in Design – Monitoring & Evaluation, Sociology, Social work or Community Development and other related fields.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-year experience of similar role;
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve arising problems
  • Flexibility for events taking place in the evening or on the weekend.

Skills

  • Be flexible, responsible and innovative in work;
  • Ability to make plans and manage the timeline of projects;
  • Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Organization & time management/ planning/ communication skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…);
  • Excellent English language skills in writing & speaking;

  • Sociable, responsive, committed working with GNI for at least 02 years;
  • Pro-active approach to challenges;
  • Professional in dealing with confidential information;
  • Attention to details and carefulness;
  • Accountable and transparent.
