Vacancy: Emergency Project Officer
Based in Hochiminh City

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Emergency Project Officer to work for our Southern Area Office. The successful candidate will be based in Hochiminh City.

Main Responsibilities: Provide day to day support, keeping track of the project plan and activities, following the project tasks; ensure the project implementation follows the schedule with highest quality.

Key Competencies:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in economic, financial management, social development or related field.
  • Good working knowledge in English in both speaking and writing skills.
  • Good knowledge in financial procedures and accounting.
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in project management in related field.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment. Work independently, focused on maintaining high quality work.
  • Experience in successful implementation of a wide range of tasks within a project environment to tight timeframes and under pressure.
  • Effectiveness in working or volunteering in a non-profit organization of NGOs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable

  • Ideally, experience in Emergency project management with NGOs.
  • Prior experience working in rural development areas.
  • Prior experience in financial and accounting works.
  • Have a very high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Be both self-confident and humble.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and fun environment
