MEET-BIS Vietnam (www.meet-bis.vn) is inviting applications for a service contract of ENERGY EXPERT (Framework agreement, part-time) based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Position
Consultant expert for Energy Efficiency and Water Saving  (EE /WS) technology

Components:
Review products of (potential) technology partners of MEETBIS, and assessment applicability for SME market (SME = Small and Medium Sized Enterprises).
Advisory service on technical concerns and highlights of Energy Efficient solutions of technology partners.
Assessment of Returns on Investments (RoI) and Energy Efficiencies/ Water Savings based on technical specifications and latest economics (Macro economics, inflations, energy price developments, etc...).
Monitor energy efficiency in installed sites.

About MEET-BIS Vietnam
MEET-BIS Vietnam is an EU funded project aimed at enlarging the market of EE / WS in SMEs through the facilitation and by offering services to technology suppliers. A specific part of the services regards the enhancement of the finance possibilities for SMEs to invest in EE / WS technology.

Profile candidate
10 years experience with EE products, and preferable WS products
Hanoi based (nationality not important)
Fluency in English and Vietnamese
Knowledge of Vietnamese Energy Market
Affinity – or even better: experience - with Small & Medium Enterprises
Masters or equivalent degree in a relevant field
Ability to simplify complex products

Expected Outputs:
Clear ROI per selected products for selected sectors
Total Solutions overview in a format understandable for non-technical people
Development of case studies/ demonstration sites.
Advisory service and capacity building within MEETBIS team on demand on relevant energy efficient topics

Duration:
Starting immediate for 6 month period initially. Part-time (average 1 day per week). For this framework agreement 26 working days are available. Input of days will be co-ordinated by the local Project Manager of this project.
