Summary:

The Field-based Project Coordinator role reports directly to the Program Manager.  The responsibilities listed below are inclusive, but not exhaustive, of the role.  It is reasonable to assume that additional tasks will be requested, as and when needed.

Appraised:

This role will be appraised by the Program Manager.  Every effort should be made by the position holder to record achievements throughout the year for AIPF’s annual appraisal.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assume primary responsibility for the logistical arrangement and organization of all project activities, including event set-up, material rental and procurement, etc., under the supervision of the Programs Manager.
  • Participate in planning, implementation, and reporting for all community-based activities, including but not limited to:
  • Assisting to organize trainings for school activity coordinators and students
  • Assisting to organize community traffic safety nights
  • Supporting community on traffic safety support campaign
  • Supporting, attending and evaluating traffic safety lessons in the target schools
  • Assisting to organize Driver’s Safety Training Courses
  • Assisting to organize capacity building workshops for district and commune officials
  • Providing coaching to volunteers and field staff throughout the implementation process
  • Providing input for periodic and final reports
  • Work directly and consistently with local stakeholders to facilitate stakeholder involvement in activities, including but not limited to:
  • Conducting orientation and review workshops with key stakeholders
  • Communicating project results to key stakeholders and responding to their questions and concerns
  • Participate in producing public, training, and educational materials for the project, including but not limited to:
  • Ensuring all educational materials align with the Ministry of Education and Training and the National Traffic Safety Committee guidelines
  • Obtaining direct approval of all educational/public materials from local authorities
  • Collaborating with commune and village leaders to organize communication activities and disseminate materials at relevant event
  • Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of knowledge and behavior change of project beneficiaries before and after project activities through tasks such as conducting surveys, administering pre- and post-assessments, and entering and editing data in AIP Foundation’s M&E database.
  • Keep regular communication with the Program Manager of AIP Foundation at Ha Noi office and provide weekly updates on project progress.
