Final Evaluation Consultant

Final Evaluation Consultant (November 2012 – January 2013)

The project ‘Strengthening the Child Protection System in Vietnam to Protect Vulnerable Children from Violence, Abuse, and Exploitation’ is looking for a Consultant to conduct the final evaluation of the project. The Consultant will work in Hochiminh City and have field visits in 03 locations of project in Hochiminh City, Dong Thap Province and Hanoi City.

Main Responsibilities

The Consultant is responsible to conduct the final evaluation for the project including: i) review documents and discuss initial ideas ii)develop a guideline for field based survey, conduct the research process in the field and iii) analyze data and write the final evaluation report.

Key Competencies

- Sound understanding of the child-rights based approach to programming
- Sound understanding of results-based management
- Experience in the evaluation of child migration programmes
- Sound understanding of child rights principles, particularly those relating to child protection and child participation
- Sound analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience in the application of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis tools, techniques and approaches
- Fluency English in written and verbal
- Master degree will be in advantage
