Final project evaluation consultant

The Fred Hollows Foundation (FHF) has been partnering in eye health in Vietnam since 1992. The Foundation in Vietnam is increasingly working with children, addressing the major cause of visual impairment, including refractive errors. Since 2016, FHFVN and its partners have developed and implemented the Vietnam Child Eye Care and Better Eyes (VNCEC) for Better Education (BEBE) projects which aim to improve eye health among Vietnamese school children. Although the two projects have different project level objectives, they were both designed to promote eye health of the school children. Both projects were implemented in the same provinces through the same partners. FHFVN is planning to conduct the combined final project evaluation for these projects from July 2019.

The Foundation is seeking expressions of interest from individuals, consulting companies interested in undertaking the final project evaluation for VNCEC and BEBE projects . The timeline, work details and selection criteria are as in the attached Terms of Reference (ToR).

Please review the attached ToR carefully. To express interest in undertaking the work described, please submit the following documents by email to: [email protected], by 20th May 2019:

• A cover letter outlining how you meet the key selection criteria and including two references
• A curriculum vitae
• Copies or links to two examples of previous written work (e.g. published reports or executive summaries of past evaluations) that are relevant to this assignment
• A financial proposal for undertaking the evaluation, outlining daily consultant rates and any other expenses as requested in the ToR
