Gaia Nature Conservation (Trung tam Bao ton Thien nhien Gaia) is a non-profit organization, based in Ho Chi Minh City. Gaia's mission is to empower people and promote advance activities in the field of nature conservation and environmental protection, in order to create a future in which people live in harmony with Mother Earth. Gaia is recruiting a finance officer who is implementing finance tasks at Gaia.
Position: Finance Officer
Programme: Finance and Office Management
Time: As soon as possible
Supervisor: Director of the Gaia Nature Conservation.
Job Type: Full-time.
Working place: Gaia headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City.
JOB BRIEF
- In charge of Finance work at Gaia. May support administrative activities if needed.
MAIN TASKS
- Take charge of finance work: Payment and settlement of projects, document management, banking transactions, making quarterly and annual reports according to regulations, reports according to management requirements of the donor and the Director.
- Support office administration and draft project contract when needed.
- Support programme administrative, fund raising activities, if needed.
QUALIFICATION
- Experience at least 3-5 years in the field of finance and accounting.
- Capable of making all kinds of financial statements, ensuring reasonable and valid documents
- Able to use accounting software, word, and excel
- Able to work in meticulous detail, carefully.
- Priority if you are passionate about nature conservation and wish to develop in the field of nature conservation.
- Demonstrating the ability to be self-control in all activities.
- Knowing English is an advantage!
