Fleet Manager

MAG is an international humanitarian non-governmental organization clearing remnants of conflicts in current and former conflict zones. Present in Vietnam since 1999, MAG has been working to maximize community safety and help those most-at risk reduce their chance of being in a UXO accident.

We are seeking a strong qualified Fleet Manager who will be taking the leading role in management of the entire programme fleet, heavy machinery and attachments, motorbikes, strimmers and generators.

Key requirements for the position include:

Essential Experience

  • Experience of reporting on a timely and accurate basis, both externally and internally to the organization.
  • Service and repair experience of vehicles including Toyota Landcruiser, Ford Ranger, Ford Transit, Ford Everest, trucks and heavy machinery such as excavators.
  • Experience of managing a team of 5+ people across multiple field locations
  • Previous experience of working on a large fleet of vehicles and dealing with service and spare parts suppliers.
  • Good experience of vehicles repairs and services.
  • Good understanding of plant excavators and plant machines.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritize activities
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills, i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. and be a quick learner in new Fleet Management Systems (i.e. Fleetio, GPS tracking, Inventory Zoho, Power Bi)
  • The ability to communicate with clarity and credibility on paper and face-to-face.
  • Verbal and written English language skills
  • University certificates in Fleet/ Transportation/ Automobile Engineering or any related aspects.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, busy and under-pressure environment.
  • Strong individual and Teamwork spirit
  • To always work within the MAG Code of Conduct.

This position can be based in Quang Binh or Quang Tri with frequent travel request to the other province.
