Bear Rescue Project in Bach Ma National Park is implemented by Animals Asia Foundation in cooperation with the Forest Protection Department, represented by Bach Ma National Park. This is a project with the scale of rescuing and housing 300 bears in a semi-wild environment, with the aim of ending bear farming, contributing to the conservation of bears in Vietnam and in the region.

The Project Management Board is in need of recruiting an employee for the position of Head of Bear Facilities Department as follows:

Working Position: Bear Facilities Department

Type of Employment: Full-time; Contract: 1 or 2 years (can be extended according to the project)

Working Location: Vietnam Bear Rescue Project at Bach Ma National Park, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province

Requirements:

• Intermediate level or higher, majoring in mechanical engineering, industrial electricity, automation
• Practical understanding of power equipment and supply system, generator system, water supply and drainage system, small repair work such as construction, welding, carpentry, iron and steel processing...
• 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and installation
• Knowledge of occupational safety and legal regulations related to maintenance work
• Knowledge of landscape design and maintenance
• Strong leadership and supervision skills
• Honesty, decisive
• Good command of English, knowledge of using computers and reading technical drawings is an advantage
