HR & Administrative Assistant

Based in Hanoi, Vietnam
(National consultancy contract- temporary position for 5 months)

SNV has been working in Vietnam since 1995. Using market based approaches, SNV is committed to reducing poverty by catalyzing environmentally sustainable solutions for the poor in agriculture, energy, water & sanitation, and REDD+(Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation).

They are seeking for a highly qualified candidate to provide support to Human Resources management for the country office and Administrative support for the regional office.

Responsibilities:
- HR Administrative support to Country office:
- Provide support in recruitment and selection process (contact advertisement agencies, arranging interviews, response to applicants, etc.)
- Prepare induction programs for new employees
- Help in daily paper works (prepare employment contracts, memos as per request)
- Coordinate in employee leave administration
- Provide support in logistic and administrative arrangement for training activities
- Support in implementing country health & safety programs
- Update HR database and filing systems
- Other HR administrative tasks

Administrative support to Regional office
- Support in secretarial, administrative and logistical day to day tasks;
- Support in coordinating and monitoring phone calls for regional office, Regional director with country directors.
- Support in organizing and coordinating regional meetings, workshops, training/learning programmes
- Update SNV Asia regional staff travelling schedule and SNV Asia directory
- Update filing systems in regional office.
- Assist in preparing meeting documents and keeping work files of regional office;
- Provide ad-hoc support to Regional Management Assistant and Regional Director in case of need
- Any other administrative/secretarial work in the regional office.
- Other HR administrative tasks for regional office

Candidate profile
- Vietnamese citizen
- University Degree (preferably BA in HRM or in English)
- Having at least 3 years working experience in HR admin/office administrative tasks in international organizations.
- Good planning, organizing and coordinating skills
- Service oriented and good team player
- Good interpersonal skills and sensitivity
- Eager to learn on the job
- Good communication skills in English and Vietnamese (written and spoken)
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet, Email)

Contract Duration: SNV offers a consultancy contract from January to May 2012.

Desired start date: 1st January 2012
