Vacancy: Human Resources Coordinator

Based in Hanoi

Main Responsibilities: The post holder is responsible to coordinate and maintain human resources management policies and procedures for the country program in order to ensure smooth operation of the Save the Children program in Vietnam. Together with Finance and Support Services Director to develop  recruitment and Talent Development  strategy and activities for SC, including staff development plan, salary and benefit package for staff, recruitment process and other human resource duties to ensure compliance and effective implementation of the SCI policies as well as smoothly operation of Save the Children program in Vietnam.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

Key Competencies:

Essential

    • University degree in public administration or law, MA is preferable

    • At least 5-years experiences in human resources management, preferably in international organizations, INGOs and/or bilateral organization

    • Solid understanding of local labor laws, social insurance laws

    • Demonstrated experience with large number of staff exceeding 60

    • Proven knowledge and skills in Human Resource, administration, recruitment,  training and development

    • Good analytical, problem solving, negotiation and mediation skills

    • Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy and to deal with a variety of highly confidential and sensitive issues with discretion

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills

    • Good prioritization skill and ability to coordinate a variety of work activities

    • Fluent English speaking and writing skills

    • Proven commitment to children rights and equality of opportunity

    • Good computer and IT skills

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Vietnam development issues and NGO networks
