Individual consultant for SEL training for Spon staff in Lao Cai

Save the Children is seeking for an individual consultant for SEL training for Spon staff in Lao Cai. Details as below:

I. Scope of work

The Consultant will provide a 3 days-training course for a group of staff who working for Sponsorship Program in Lao Cai office, Lao Cai province.

II. Responsibilities of the Consultant

• Develop contents of training agenda on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) related to the context of caring children from 0 – 18 years old at home. This background knowledge will provide needed guidance to Sponsorship Program’s facilitators in their daily works.
• Prepare presentations, handout and other needed tools for the training.
• Conduct the training for a group of SC’s staff in 3 days
• Consult and answer the questions of participants on SEL during the training process.

III. Requirements for Consultant:

Mandatory professional requirements:

• Having certificates on children education, social and emotional learning or psychology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on supporting parents on SEL in family context.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on training SEL for teachers and parents

Recommended criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher on Social work, Psychology…
• Friendly and having new and creative teaching methods.
• Having experience of working with Civil society organization and international NGO
