Rosa Luxemburg Stiftunguxemburg Southeast Asia – Regional Representative Office in Vietnam (RLS SEA) - one of six political foundations of Germany who supports partners in developing countries working for the achievement of social justice, socio-ecological transformation and a participatory politics in their respective countries – now is offering an internship at our office in Hanoi for 1 interest candidate, details are as follows:


1.     Scope of assignment

Under the supervision of the Project Manager as well as the Finance Manager, the intern is responsible for doing the assignemtns and tasks on a daily basis. More specifically, the tasks are as follows:

  • Assist to check the financial vouchers, financial excel files submitted by RLS SEA’s cooperation partners;
  • Mark the number on the financial documents in complying with the financial management software IPAS;
  • Assist to do awarding quotation / awarding contract upon 3 quotations for any expenditure equal and above 500 EUR;
  • Assist to support the work of the Finance team with the Auditor (UHYACA) in the audit 2014;
  • Assist to check RLS SEA staff’s business trip claims, report to the Finance Manager for reimbursement;
  • Assist to collect financial vouchers of RLS SEA’s payments or of RLS SEA’s cooperation partners to ensure timely closing of the financial year 2014 as well as the funding cycle 2012 – 2014;
  • Attend to and do the assignment for the activities organized by RLS SEA upon request;
  • Attend to and monitor the activities organized by RLS SEA’s cooperation partners upon request;
  • Assist to the project managers in cases of project documentation/filing.

Moreover, the intern can propose doing tasks related to his/her study that requests support from RLS SEA.

2.     Qualification Requirement

  • Committed Vietnamese citizen;
  • Interested in the political and economic development of Vietnam, as well as the ASEAN region
  • University degree specializing in project management, accounting & finance is an advantage;
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and creative in solving problems;
  • Ability to work independently and with a team;
  • Proficiency in English; German is an asset
  • Good computer skills in MS-applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Email);

3.     Working conditions & benefit

  • Internship duration: 3 to 6 months, starting from 25 March 2015 (depend on the need of the candidate);
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m to 6 p.m;
  • Working facilities including laptop are provided;
  • Work location: RLS SEA’s office at No. 72 Xuan Dieu street, Tay Ho district, Hanoi, Vietnam;
