INTERN STAFF - Knowledge Management Project Manager Assistant

Handicap International (HI) is active in Viet Nam since 1992. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated person, Vietnamese nationality, to work for the “Safe Road for Youth” in the position of INTERN STAFF - Knowledge Management Project Manager assistant

Position type:     Full time, short term contract.
Starting time: As soon as possible
Ending time: Estimate on/about end of October 2014.   

Mission

Assist the knowledge management Project Manager in the realization of the lesson learning process for the road safety sector and other sectors if needed.

Main internal interfaces

  • The KM project Manager
  • The RS project team: Support Services Officers (SSO)

Main external interfaces

  • None

Based in Hanoi, with field missions and under the line management of the SR4Y Lesson Learning Project Manager

Assistance in organization of workshops and interviews

  • Ensure the good logistics of the workshops: booking a venue, hotel, restaurant, preparation and distribution of per diem etc….
  • Prepare and send invitation to the participants;
  • Make appointment for the project manager;
  • Take minutes of the workshops or interviews;

Translation

  • Oral and written translation as per the request of the project manager.

Assistance in literature review and data collection

  • Support in the literature review (RS HI website, server and other literature) as per the request of the PM;
  • Collect the necessary data as per the request of the project manager.

Specific missions

  • In addition, the assistant could be asked to undertake any other duties requested by the Support Services Coordinator or Admin & logistics coordinator.

Note that the work priorities are related to the Lesson Learning process. Other tasks will be carried on a time to time basis.

The assistant will respect the HI working hours and will be required to travel for some missions in Ho Chi Minh city and in Province (Bac Giang, Binh Thuan and Dong Nai).

Knowledge required
