BACKGROUND: The Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN) is an independent research center established since 2005. Since the establishment, they have engaged in many social and economic research activities for both governmental and international organizations.
DEPOCEN is inviting qualified applicants to submit expressions of interest for the anticipated vacancy of up to (2) PROJECT OFFICERS in Hanoi, Vietnam.

I. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Program Coordinator in coordinating and working with implementing partners/agencies in project design, proposal development, contractual agreement, provision and/or arrangement of monitoring and technical assistance visits and inputs and project evaluation. In detailed:

Objective:
Conducting a baseline survey for beneficiary groups of six components of NAV’s  pilot project e.g Safe shelter, livelihoods, WASH, environmental issues, Emergency preparedness and response, and Community organization and action in Phong Binh commune in Phong Dien district and Vinh Hai commune in Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province.
Developing a set of indicators for M&E system

The UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID) Vietnam is part of the British Embassy in Hanoi.  DFID has an annual development programme in Vietnam of £50 million. We are working closely with Government of Vietnam and other Development partners to eradicate poverty. The DFID Vietnam team is small but dedicated (currently five expatriate and 18 locally engaged staff).
