Internship at CIAI Vietnam

Objective: To support CIAI activities within Sponsorship and Nutrition Project

Description: The Intern will respond to CIAI Project Officer and CIAI Country Representative in Vietnam and CIAI Head Quarter in Italy.

Specifically, the Intern will have to support the senior staff in ensuring successful and effective project activities and will be in charge of providing coordination and organizational support to Project Officer as follow:

- Undertake visits to the project site to gain a clear understanding of project conditions, requirements and constraints. Main duty station will be Hanoi office, with weekly field missions;
- Manage the logistics of and coordinating content development for meetings and other project-related events;
- Communication with project partner and stakeholders for project activities, to optimize access and to ensure timely organization and facilitation of activities relating to project implementation;
- Data collection;
- Assist in project and event planning and implementation with preparation of budgets of different activities according to the needs;
- Assist in coordination and monitoring of project activities and budget;
- Prepare supporting documents;
- Translate documents from Vietnamese to English/Italian and vice versa when necessary;

Final Outputs: Provide final report on internship activity.

Place: Hanoi and Son Don District, Bac Giang Province

Duration: 3 months

Requirements:

- University degree in Economics/Social Sciences
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, written and spoken.
- Knowledge of the Vietnamese language, written and spoken.
- Good writing skills
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Willingness to travel; very flexible, patient and with a positive attitude; self-motivated.
- Dynamic and willing to take initiative to complete tasks assigned
