Internship – Program Coordinator (04 months – Full time)

Location: Ha Noi, Vietnam

 

VisionSpring, an international social enterprise, looks for qualified and self-motivated Vietnamese candidates to apply for an Internship. The Intern Program Coordinator will be trained, guided to support the program team in conducting vision camps in workplaces and for its program/thematic areas of See to Earn – Clear Vision Workplace Program in Vietnam. S/he is incharge off supporting the Program Coordinator with all camp activities and manages all aspects of the camp execution and initiating the process of registion at the camp site – making the customers comfortable, recording customers’ details into VisionSpring’s EMR and data recording system, explaining how the vision camp works, answering questions,. This position is based in Hanoi but will require travel to provinces, sometimes including overnight stays near work sites. The Intern Program Coordinator will report to the Program Coordinator in charge, and the Country Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Vision Camp Operations

  • Assist in the arrangement and execution of camps in workplaces and communities.
  • Assist with camp preparations as assigned to ensure availability of all requirements for the camp (displaying marketing collaterals, photocopying, putting up signs, camp set up, etc.).
  • Assist in monitoring the customer crowd in the camp and take proactive steps to make sure customers are not waiting too long at each stage of the process.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Undertake specific administrative duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
  • Assist with capturing customers’ photos, collecting customer stories, and survey data to help understand customer satisfaction, preferences, and barriers to vision and optical care.
  • Attend and actively participate in mandatory trainings.

  

Customer Registration and Data Collection

  • Assist with registration procedures and accurately record primary customer information on VisionSpring’s software.
  • Explain to customers why the requested information is needed to register them for participation in the vision camp.
  • Update the Program Coordinator of any challenges faced and seek advice on solving the issues.
  • Provide excellent care and demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all customers.

 

Supply Chain Support

  • Assist with inventory management, recording, reporting, and procurement.
  • Assist with organizing and overseeing inventory by keeping a detailed database of available inventory and committed inventory per client/program. Ensure data entry accuracy.

 

WHAT’S REQUIRED

  • Last year student or a fresh graduate.
  • Good skills in MS Office for daily tasks (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) Knowledge in photography and project implementation is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Willingness to travel. Ability to work long hours.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and prompt. Ability to multitask while adhering to schedule and deadlines.

 

COMPENSATION

  • Allowance: VND300,000/day.
  • Allowance for expenses under the organization SOP if travel to the site.
  • Expected start date: June 2025.
