Interpreters

MCNV is a Dutch NGO working in the field of community health and development in Vietnam since 1968. We are now looking for 2 volunteer interpreters as follows:

Job summary: Translating and interpreting to assist Dutch students who do researches in Quang Tri Province.

Reporting lines: Reporting directly to MCNV Programme Officers in Quang Tri.

Project:

1. Research on the role of disabled people’s organisations towards the empowerment of people with disabilities.
2. Research on the application of information technology for organizational capacity development and empowerment of people with disabilities in remote areas.

Location: Quang Tri Province

Assignment Starts: 20 April 2016 to 20 June 2016

Project Duration: The Interpreter will be under a 2 months contract. Possible extension if necessary.

Essential Requirement for the position:  

• Degree in English or Social work or Public Health is preferable.
• Good inter-personal and communications skills
• Fluency in Vietnamese and English language, both written and spoken
• Ability to tailor language, tone, style and format to match the audience
• Planning, organizing and multi-tasking
