IT consultant to develop digital platform

IDDS TB through PATH is looking for an IT consultant to develop digital platform for implementing the continuous medical education for laboratory quality improvement.

Timeline

The timeline is up to 80 days from July to December 2022

Activities and Scope of Work

The IT consultant will develop a digital platform for continuous medical education for Tuberculosis (TB) laboratory quality improvement. Beneficiaries of this platform will include National TB Control Program (NTP) program managers, lab managers, technicians, lab staff, and microbiologists.

The IT consultant will closely work with the IDDS project team and project partners to undertake the following tasks:

Project initiation (20 days)

• Specify scope of work
• Learn the project requirements and milestones
• Work with stakeholders to evaluate and define the core technology that will be used for the project
• Work with stakeholders to kick off the project and maintain the timelines
• Write/contribute to develop Software Requirement Specification and APIs
• Design mockups and Graphical User Interface (GUI)

Design (15 days)

• Design the interface according to the selected layout
• Web interface checking and editing from stakeholders’ comments
• Finalize HTML version

Implementation (35 days)

• Design Database Schema and System Architect
• Develop user management, including sign-up , login, RBAC (role based access control), and administration modules
• Develop course registration module
• Develop multiple choice test module
• Develop Cart/Payment Management module
• Develop Comment/Review management module
• Implement video security feature
• Module programming—Members Management
• Develop module to manage the contents (existing contents or contents to be developed by NTP/NRL/IDDS)
• Develop e-learning module

API (5 days)

• Develop payment methods including e-wallet, payment gateway, pos, e-banking
• Develop feature/API to send email

Acceptance (5 days)

• Deploy to independent website to pilot environment
• Error and log-in function testing
• Manual and technical documents, and transfer of administrative rights
• Deploy to working environment
• Develop the manuals for website administration   and handover to IDDS
