OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT programmer will be responsible to support all technical issues linked to e-TB manager’s maintenance and management. He or she will be the staff in charge of updating all variables of the system’s administration module, backup and maintenance at local server, according to MSH regulations, standard operating procedures and good business practices. He or she will be working directly with NTP-Vietnam. IT programmer will provide support on overall IT technical issues.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Provide IT technical support for e-TB manager maintenance. This includes
- Support the system installation in local server;
- Daily backup of the data encoded;
- Update all variables of the system’s administration module with the update of: Administrative units, Health systems, TB Units, Medicine sources, Medicine generic names, Medicines, Treatment regimens, Laboratories, Weekly frequencies, Age ranges, TB field values, Case tags, Users and User's profiles aligned with NTP Vietnam orientation.
- Raise all aspects for the integration of e-TB manager with other systems;
- Regularly report to MSH’s technical team through by documenting all support given.
2.Maintain meeting records and progress follow-up, as required.
3.Other duties as requested by the Project Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

1.University degree in a relevant field such as IT programming or related field;
2.At least three (1) year experience in an independent position with programming experience;
3.Fluency in English and Vietnamese language including reading, writing and speaking skills;
4.Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;18th January 2013
5.Ability to work remotely and unsupervised, to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and to take initiative;
6.Ability to communicate effectively with local and international contacts;
7.Experience with technical issues linked with the IT systems, such as, programming, maintenance and software integration;
8.Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities;
9.Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.;
10.Ability to look across systems and identify common relationships;
11.Experience and understanding of the public health industry a plus;
12.Team player with the ability to work productively with internal and external clients and to translate requirements into solutions;
13.Willingness and ability to travel 20% domestically, as needed.
